

Our Flyer layout started as a father sons layout with my guys when they were small.
It eventually grew into the layout
in these pictures. We began with one 4x8 table which was
expanded into the three you see here.

We just threw down track so
that all three could have at
least one loop. The youngest
just turned 21, and the layout
is still here. They still want to
run
a train now and then.



The oil drum loader is an item Flyer never made. I built it from scratch using sheet metal and odds and ends.

New photos of Jerry's layout include day and night scenes of the new scratch built passenger terminal.


Jerry emailed: "I used two strings of "Christmas lights" as the street lights. They closely resemble the old Gilbert ones, and I got them on an after holiday sale for $4 per string."
